Interpreting for 911 (Neutral)
This webinar introduces a continuing education webinar for interpreters. The course aims to teach interpreters how to "think like a first responder" by familiarizing them with the stages of a patient assessment.Ā The goal is not to train them as first responders, but to help them anticipate what will happen next during emergency medical situations, thereby improving their interpretation for EMTs, firefighters, and paramedics. The webinar is open to medical, community, and court interpreters and will cover EMS protocols and malpractice.
