Simultaneous Interpreting Guided Practice; Translation Techniques Medical
Interpreters should Employ

The simultaneous mode of interpreting can be a very useful skill for medical interpreters, but very little attention is paid to it because so much of the focus is placed on consecutive interpreting being that it is the primary mode of
interpretation in the healthcare setting. To this end, revisiting, reviewing, and deliberately practicing the necessary skills to be effective simultaneous interpreters is pivotal to successfully interpreted encounters.
